non ci basta più ascoltare, vogliamo vivere, capire fino in fondo tutto quello che ascoltiamo...e se avete sentito il pezzo dei Disclosure "White Lies" (qui il post proprio su questa fantastica traccia) troverete davvero interessante questo video, pubblicato anche sull'immenso portale Beatport. Il pezzo è stato letteralmente smontato per andare a coglierne le basi più profonde ed i singoli componenti che lo compongono.

Titles. Morning Caffeine by Martin Landsky

Diciamoci la verità: l'elettronica non avendo una grande componente di testo cantato si deve affidare ad una sola parola o frase per farci intendere che messaggio stiamo per ascoltare. Parliamo, ovviamente, del titolo. E di titoli bizzarri o senza senso ne troviamo una marea...
ho voluto scegliere una traccia che invece ha un titolo semplice, se vogliamo banale, ma stupendo: morning caffeine. E senza andare a leggersi tutte le descrizioni ed i comunicati allegati alla sua pubblicazione la sensazione che abbiamo quando ascoltiamo il pezzo è chiara: sentiamo la descrizione degli effetti della (necessaria) caffeina del lunedì mattina! una descrizione che si svolge senza parole ma solo con suoni, che in modo spettacoloso ci fanno vivere le sensazioni che tutti proviamo quando alla mattina ci affidiamo alla fedele caffeina per dare inizio alla giornata.
Sentite qua:

Carica, nervi tesi, nervosismo, la fine del rincoglionimento mattutino...tutte cose che sentiamo nel ritmo e nei suoni: ambiente techno, piuttosto minimale, caratterizzato da un crescendo di melodia che pero non eccede mai e non riesce del tutto ad avvolgerci anzi, ci da la sensazione di agitazione...proprio quello che viene preannunciato nel titolo.

E' un arte difficile quella di nominare le canzoni techno, ma in questo caso è proprio il titolo che da il la alla traccia...

Let's face it: the electronic songs are not having a large component of sung text and to make us understand what message we are going to listen the producers are usually focused intoo a single word or phrase . We talk, of course, about the titles of the songs. 
I wanted to choose a track that instead has a simple title, so brillant: morning caffeine. And without going to read all descriptions and descriptions that are attached to its publication the feeling that we have when we hear this track is clear: we hear the narration of the effects of (required) caffeine on Monday morning! a description which takes place without words but only with sounds, so spectacular, that make us live the feelings that we all feel in the morning when we rely on the faithful caffeine to start the day.

Tension, nervousness, the end of the morning weakness ... all things that we feel in the rhythm and sounds: techno ambient , pretty minimal, characterized by a crescendo of melody but never exceeding, giving us the agitated feeling ... just what is foretold in the title.
It 'a difficult art to give good titles to techno songs, but in this case it is the title that sets the tone to the track ...

Marco Faraone & Luca Agnelli - Jambo EP DESOLAT X022

3.06.2013 - Benvenuti in Germania con la seconda delle tre uscite che avevamo preannunciato dell'etichetta Tedesca Desolat. Si ma in Germania mica poi cosi tanto, qua siamo più che altro in Italia con i due giovani ma cazzutissimi dj che solitamente lavorano per la loro Etruria records. Parliamo di Luca Agnelli e Marco Faraone. Dopo l'uscita di Butch si continua alla grande!
La coppia italianissima sta continuando a fare passi da gigante verso le label più importanti. Sono già passati per Get Physical e Dirtybird, fanno ora il loro esordio per la casa madre della tech house. E c'è un motivo ben preciso se i due stanno scalando le vette del gotha mondiale...la loro musica. Detto ciò ascoltate la produzione.

ecco le preview (un po cortine ma siamo in anticipo rispetto all'uscita vera e propria):

parto dall'ultima che colpisce più di tutte le tracce, e rappresenta lo stile della coppia italiana. Ritmo e groove tipicamente tech house, quindi base ritmica costante e senza variazioni importanti. Ma il pezzo forte sono proprio le variazioni che troviamo a livello di melodia, di basso, di voci. Suoni che rimbombano e secchi, bassi che si scatenano profondi e caldi, vocals sognanti...

il punto di incontro perfetto fra lo stile di Luca e Marco e quello della tech house più hard tipica della Desolat (guidata da Loco Dice).

06/03/2013 - Welcome to Germany with the second of the three productions that we announced for German label Desolat. Yes, but then not so much in Germany, here we are more than anything else in Italy with the two young but awesome DJs who usually work for their label Etruria. We are talking about Luca Agnelli and Marco Faraone. After the release of Butch continues the big time!
The Italian pair is continuing to do very giant strides towards the most important label. They've passed trough Dirtybird and Get Physical  now making their debut for the bosses of tech house. And there is a reason if the two are climbing the peaks of the best in the world... their music. Having said that listening to the production.

Let's start with the last one that hits greater than the rest of the tracks, and represents the style of the Italian couple. Rhythm and groove are typically tech house, then steady rhythmic base and no major fluctuations. But the highlight is precisely the changes that we find at the level of melody, bass, voices. Sounds that echoes and are so dry, deep bass that are unleashed and warm, dreamy vocals ...

the perfect meeting point between the style of Luca e Marco, and one of the most hard tech house typical of the Desolat (led by Loco Dice).

Sono - Keep Control the Remixes (Kontor Records)

prendere un pezzo house di qualche anno fa, ma non un pezzo qualsiasi, uno che al tempo spaccava "di brutto". Keep Control di Sono. I tempi da allora sono cambiati un bel po, musicalmente, e a qualcuno è venuta un idea fantastica: prendere questa hit ed "attualizzarla". Beh ci sono riusciti alla grande i produttori di Kontor Records. Hanno creato una serie di remix al passo con i tempi a livello sia di ritmi che di sonorità, rendendo questo grande successo del passato un potenziale successo del presente.

Fra le varie versioni quelle di Marc Romboy e di H.O.S.H. hanno qualcosa di straordinario: suoni emozionanti. Sentite e lasciatevi caricare da questi capolavori:

Prima sentiamo un sottofondo rude, nervoso, in crescendo che ci porta a percepire una scala di emozioni sempre più forti. Nella seconda preview invece attimi di silenzio intervallati da suoni singoli e distorti che precedono il cantato acappella che rimbomba...la quiete che precede la tempesta con la cassa che pompa tutto ad un tratto...qualcosa di eccezionale.

Take a piece of the house a few years ago, but not any piece, one that at the time was the hottest. Keep Control by Sono. Times have changed quite a lot, musically, and someone has a fantastic idea: to take this hit and "actualize" it. Well, Kontor Records producers did a great job. They created a series of remixes in step with the times at both the rhythms and the sounds, making this great success of the past a potential success of this time.

Eh già, si comincerà presto a parlare anche di moda. L'universo della musica elettronica l'influenza e ne è influenzato, la night life è l'espressione più vivace di questo connubio. 

Collaborazioni con i siti più importanti, pubblicazioni originali direttamente da SoundsDeep. Idee, pensieri, spunti. Andare per locali non può ridursi solo al "vestirsi bene" certo, anzi è la musica che secondo noi la deve far da padrona. Ma guai ad essere ottusi e non riconoscere che nell'underground musicale i richiami al mondo del fashion e del design sono troppo importanti per non essere presi in considerazione. Si sta sviluppando sempre più una corrente di stile legata alla vita underground e street, insomma il nostro mondo.

Poco tempo fa avevamo parlato di Adidas (per fare un esempio) che in un suo commercial sfrutta il mood dubstep ed electro, e non è l'unica azienda d'abbigliamento a farlo. Spesso in occasione di fashion shows e sfilate di vario genere il sottofondo musicale è chiaro: elettronico. E per di più non si parla di sottofondo ma accompagnamento vero a proprio...

Ultimo avvertimento: i migliori dj, attenti a tutti gli aspetti comunicativi e non ultimo il punto abbibliamento, sono sempre più concentrati sul merchandising con produzione di qualsiasi tipo di vestiario. E ogni artista di alto livello nei suoi set non lascia al caso l'outfit con cui si presenta.

Insomma segnali chiari del fatto che per poter viverci davvero il mondo "techno" (parola orrenda, che comprende una marea di generi, ma utile per indicare di cosa stiamo parlando), dobbiamo prenderne in considerazione tutti gli aspetti...
