welcome in Guti's house...tech, deep, minimal, soulful house! Defected continues in his series of podcasts named "in their house" with this collaboration: Guti. One of the greatest in the tech ambient. Guti gives an incredibly smooth and groovy sound, with his tipical melodies, that are a mix between hard and soft reef of different instruments (digital and analogic). qualcosa di forte, davvero forte. Abbandoniamo i mezzi termini. Qui siamo davvero di fronte ad una bomba, neanche tanto ad orologeria. Perchè quando premiamo play salta tutto in aria! Prime numbers da tempo pubblica delle uscite composte da tre tracce, una consuetudine che ha reso la label famosa e quotata in tutto il mondo. In questa occasione ci regala un' uscita che ,davvero, mentre sto scrivendo mi sta destabilizzando, fatico a trovare la concentrazione per scrivere. Il sound prende e ti cattura, ti stritola e quasi affoga...ma si affoga di piacere... Tre pezzi di tre autori molto diversi fra loro, che sono infatti in tre stili diversi. Davvero bello poter pensare di comprare un solo ep e trovarci cose completamente differenti, possiamo sfamare qualsiasi voglia musicale in un vinile unico. Eccovi le preview:

It's a few months that Prime numbers publics releases made of three tracks, a paculiarity which has made the label famous and quoted all over the world. On this occasion gives us a production that, really, is destabilizing me while I'm writing, I struggle to find the concentration to write. The sound takes and catches you, you almost drown ... but drowns with pleasure ... Three tracks of three authors, very different one between another, which are in fact three different styles. Really nice to think about buying one ep and find completely different things, we can feed any music need in a vinyl single. Organic sounds, "true" sounds, colorful but not too arrogant. A pure and warm bass line...amazing. Truss, we pass from one end to the other. We arrive in an acid house that is more dry, nervous, charging and enjoyable as possible. High rhytm and strong tones that bring us in an exciting crescendo. Massimo di lena. spesso accade che Azari & III si lascino andare a sperimentazioni esagerate, sonorità funky e poco adatte al clubbing vero e proprio...poco male...si poco male perchè spesso entrano in gioco dei remixer di tutto rispetto che riescono a dare tonalità più groovy e dance ricca di suoni cadenzati e bassi. Vedi "hungry for the power" entrata nella storia grazie al remix ad opera di Jamie Jones. qui la storia si ripete, con Tiga. Deep, stussante, a tratti suoni secchi, poi il cantato ci accompagna...e torniamo a spingere di cassa...ci siamo di nuovo..alla grande anche! SoundsDeep. Often Azari & III goes too far with experimentations, funky deviations that aren't really suitable for club situations....but wait a moment...those are experimentations incredibly fashinating and useful. Useful? yes useful because many remixer can use those "starting points" to create fresh new tracks edited with more groovy, hard, deep resonance. A perfect example of that is "hungry for the power", a piece of history and one of the greatest songs of all times, remixed by Jamie Jones. Here we are again, with Tiga. andiamo a scoprire una delle uscite che anche a livello di mainstream sta andando fortissimo. Sempre ad opera di Wankelmut che dopo la produzione di “One Day / Reckoning Song” remixando Asaf Avidan, si lancia con una nuova uscita anche sostanziosa con la preziosa collaborazione di Emma Louise. In radio sentiamo tutti l'original mix ma in realtà l'ep rilasciato dalla label Poesie Musik è ricco di re-editing davvero interessanti. Meglio, la casa tedesca ha pubblicato diverse uscite (al momento 3) che ci forniscono una serie infinita di re-edit e remixes. We discovered that one of the products at the level of the mainstream is going strong. Again Wankelmut that after the production of "One Day / Reckoning Song" (remixing Asaf Avidan), launches a new release also substantial with the collaboration of Emma Louise. In radio we allhear the original mix but in reality the ep released by the label "Poems musik" is full of really interesting re-editing. Rather, the German label has published several eps (currently 3) which provide us an endless series of re-edits and remixes. sarebbe meglio non ripetersi, differenziare. Abbiamo appena parlato della cadenza...ah si? e allora? ma avete dato un ascoltata anche solo veloce a qualcuna delle preview di questo ep? ecco. Se non lo avete ancora fatto prego. poi ne riparliamo.
bene torniamo seri per un attimo: siamo di fronte ad un ep con ben 7 tracce, tanta roba. Diciamoci la verità è difficile oggi trovare delle uscite così sostanziose e spesso quando le tracce sono "troppe" ci becchiamo una, due canzoni interessanti ed altri pezzi più di contorno... e dopo tutte queste pippe mentali ecco che Valentino Kanzyani ci spara 7 (sette!) pezzi stupendi tutti in un unico vinile... grazie Cadenza come sempre sinonimo di sicurezza. tech house, deep, chillout, techno. Mixate tutto insieme. Premete play, posizionate la puntina del vinile e dimenticatevi di tutto il resto. Davvero vale la pena di godersele tutte queste 7 tracce, non vanno solo usate e posizionate in un contesto di clubbing. Dovete, e dico dovete gustarvele tutte e darvi del tempo per lasciarvi cullare da questi ritmi ipnotici ma allo stesso tempo coinvolgenti... We've talked about Cadenza just yesterday...and then? give a listen to the preview! than we can talk about... well: it's hard to find eps with 7 tracks, and always when you find those thick eps only a pair of songs are really interesting (and the others are only ordinary). Valentino Kanzyani don't give a fuck about all this considerations and bangs out 7 (seven!) awesome tracks! thanks to Cadenza.

aspettarsi qualcosa di convenzionale da uno come Lopazz è complicato. Per lo più in questo ep edito dalla Get Physical Music è affiancato da Betoko e Casio Casino, nomi che magari ai più non dicono molto. Vi basti sapere che per arrivare alla produzione di questo ep i tre hanno lavorato a stretto contatto (come hanno già fatto in passato), e ,da quelle che sono le informazioni fornite dalla stessa label al momento della pubblicazione, per ottenere dei nuovi suoni più caldi ed espressivi i tre caballeros si sono messi a registrare in autonomia chitarre, bassi, percussioni, campionando e remixando tutto in un secondo momento. Il risultato è composto da 3 tracce (più una bonus per la Beatport Edition):

tocchi di house music classicissima, altri tocchi acid house. Botoko remixa dando un tono più secco ed incalzante. Vocals e assoli di basso da soul e blues. Per finire con una melodia al sintetizzatore che ci vuole ricordare quanto siamo in un ambiente soft e groovy...proprio your love è il brano che spicca, insieme alla U&I remixata da betoko. Questo perchè sono i due pezzi che si avvicinano di più alla deephhouse e che hanno un ritmo più secco e da club. in definitiva una grandissima uscita, enjoy. SoundsDeep.
